I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in private practice in Gorham, Maine. I graduated from Roger Williams in 1992 with a BA in Psychology and from the University of New England in 1997 with a Masters in Social Work.
I have been in private practice since December, 2003. My work experience prior to opening my practice included Residential Treatment for girls, Case Management, and School Social Work Services.
I currently provide outpatient Play Therapy to children ages 5 and up, as well as mental health counseling for teens, adults, and families. The scope of my therapeutic work focuses on a Strengths Based perspective, and is supportive as well as goal directed. In addition, I have experience in areas specific to the treatment of ADD/ADHD, Depression, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Grief and Loss, behavioral issues, parenting support and educational advocacy.

Should we decide to begin a working relationship, you will be sent a link to my online portal, where you can sign all necessary paperwork, upload your insurance information, and set up payment options.
There is often a Certified Therapy dog in my office with me, his name is Cooper. He is a mix breed, who loves to give hugs and hang out
with me while I work. If you are not comfortable with dogs, please let me know well in advance of our first session.
In addition, you will also find the NASW Privacy Practice Guidelines below that will further explain your rights as a recipient of outpatient counseling services, and how your Protected Health Information may be used in our work together.
